KEITH HARRIS, Director of Toledo School of Ministry
About 15 years ago, I asked myself a question “how do I love people the greatest?”. God gave me the answer in a time of great soul searching. Lead them to Him! Since that day I have been on a journey to love people through leading them to Jesus and helping them fulfill their God given purpose in life.
This journey has taken me through a four year school of ministry training (where I met my wife, Rachel), receiving my license of ministry through Open Bible Churches, a time as a youth pastor, a time as a lead pastor and to where I am now. I am excited that God has entrusted me with three great callings:
To Direct Emerge Ministries
A ministry focusing on loving the young adult generation by leading them into an all in relationship with Jesus Christ throughout Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York.
To Direct the Toledo School of Ministry
Where I will continue to train and deploy men and women to boldly advance God’s kingdom!
And to love my wife Rachel, as Christ loves His Church.
The journey continues……….
TOM RUPLI, Regional Executive Director of Open Bible East
In 1982, Tom Rupli received an invitation to work with a team of educators at New Life Church in Petersburg, MI to develop a K-12 Christian School from the ground up. Through the years, New Life School impacted the lives of many boys and girls, and Tom was privileged to teach a broad variety of High School academics. In 2003, as senior pastor of New Life Church, Tom worked with other church leaders to incorporate with Masters Commission International. After receiving certification, New Life Church developed the Great Lakes Masters Commission, a leadership training school hosted in the local church campus. Numerous graduates from GLMC have entered into ministry across the United States and around the world. Based on a revelation from 1 Kings 20, Tom has built much of his ministry career around “mustering (equipping and sending) young leaders”. The Toledo School of Ministry, a two year school modeled after the principles that Jesus and Paul used with their disciples, is designed to “Train and deploy men and women to boldly advance the Kingdom of God”. In the future, Tom desires to see other schools of ministry spring up in Dayton, Pittsburgh, and New York City.
