Toledo is the fourth largest city in the state of Ohio and is centrally located near many large cities. The city is known for its national ranked zoo, art museum and minor league sports teams. It is an exciting time to be living in Toledo because of the unity among the local churches and christian faith-based ministries coming together to enlarge God’s family. There are many opportunities to serve and love people of different cultural, economic, and social backgrounds.
Our classroom model is based on Acts 19:9-10. The apostle Paul took his disciples with him and held daily discussions at the lecture hall of Tyrannus, for two years so that all throughout the region all people heard the word of the Lord.
Classes will consist of prayer, worship, daily discussions, lectures, and hands on ministry experiences. The student’s classroom will be the local church, The Lewis House Ministry Center, and the streets of Toledo.
Every student will be personally mentored in a one-on-one setting by a trained pastor and/or leader who will assist in the development of their personal formation.
Students will also intern alongside experienced pastors and ministry leaders to further develop their ministry skills in church and cultural settings.
